A simple-looking fruit or a nut that is mostly used in the spiritual field or it can be said that it is an important part of spiritual activities. ‘Rudraksha’ is a Sanskrit word a combination made of two words “Rudra” and “Aksha” means. Rudra is a Vedic name of lord shiva and aksha means eyes.
Origin of Rudraksha
In today’s world, Nobody knows the true reason for rudraksha’s origin and describes whatever they know by hearsay. but rudraksha is described in some Puranas.
According to “Shiv Puran” lord shiva was in meditation for thousands of years. “Devi Parvati” one day requested lord shiva to let her know about the origin of Rudraksha. Shiva answered that during the time of meditation once a teardrop fell from his eye on the earth. that teardrop grew in a tree and it is been know as a rudraksha. we can definitely say that it is just another form of “shiva”.
Specialties of Rudraksha
Rudraksha is not an attractive or good-looking nut, but even then it is being used vastly. And that’s how it shows the utility and effectiveness of rudraksha. this rudraksha is said to be the most effective. rudraksha is the only fruit or nut to wear, it always gives positive and good results and anybody can wear it.
Rudraksha always has a positive effect to be successful and removes negative energy and making a man healthy and physically fit keeps him away from diseases. It enhances the power of the mind, heart, and nervous system.
By wearing rudraksha gives peace and strength to willpower. A genuine rudraksha lifts a person from bottom to top, his image and importance. Place of Availabilities: seeing its effectiveness and utility some artificial rudraksha are prepared and it is challenging to distinguish between original and artificial rudraksha. However, it is found mostly in Nepal and Indonesia and now also in some parts of India.
Types of rudraksha
Rudraksha is available in the form of a black pepper to an Indian gooseberry. They have faces or lines on them. Some of these are very much effective.
1 Ek Mukhi, one face, or single line rudraksha:
It is known to be the best type of rudraksha and known to be ‘shiva’ himself, shiva’s ornament. it is the most effective rudraksha. This type of rudraksha gives stringing and enhances will power of a person makes him emotionally and mentally powerful. Single face or ek mukhi rudraksha is said to be have blessing from the sun and can cure skin diseases, problems in the right eye, headaches, ear, nerves and bone problems.
2 Mukhi, two-line or two-face rudraksha:
This type of rudraksha is known for property, security, and effectiveness in hypnotism. For women, it is effective during the time of pregnancy and for good health. A person wearing it is popular, properly healthy, and keeps faith in god. Purana describes that these types of rudraksha have the power of shiva and wife “Shakti”. so it makes them successful in family bonding brotherly relations and hypnotism.
3 Mukhi, three faces or three line rudraksha:
Such rudraksha has the power of lord “Brahma”, “Vishnu”, “shiva” and three virtues “sat”, “raj”, “tam” and three worlds “sky”, “earth” and “inner earth”. By wearing this success, efforts availability of means, learning knowledge is immediately obtained.
4 Mukhi, four-face or four lines rudraksha:
It gives an understanding of life, religion, and diseases, and the students who are weak in reading and studies can be benefited by wearing this rudraksha.
5 Mukhi, five-face or five-line rudraksha:
This is known as a form of ‘shiva’ and center power and is easily available. These are effective when wearing 3 (5 mukhi) rudraksha together. And give good results and mental peace, free from sin as the killing of a cow and a human.
6 Mukhi, six-face or six-line rudraksha:
It is known as a power center of “Kartikeya”, son of shiva, and useful in many problems. if it is worn with four faces (char mukhi)

7 Mukhi, seven-face or seven-line rudraksha:
It is known as a power center of sexual life, health, and prosperity. It brings richness, prestige, and money. This type of rudraksha has scarcity in availability.
8 Mukhi, eight faces or eight rudrakshas:
These are not easily available and are known to be blessed with “brahmana”. eight lines make it very effective. A person wearing it is free from physical, spiritual, and natural problems.
9 Mukhi, nine faces or nine lines rudraksha:
This type of rudraksha is blessed by goddess Durga so it gives security, and safety and keeps away from mental and physical problems. for women, it gives mental peace and respect.
10 Mukhi, ten faces or ten line rudraksha:
It has got the power of the lord “Vishnu”. hence it is successful to fulfill all wills and keeps away from problems and diseases saves from accidental death or unnatural death.
11 Mukhi, eleven faces or eleven line rudraksha:
it has got power from “lord shiva” himself so it gives power to victory, affection, and prestige. It is most favorable for shiva followers. very scares in availability. if found should be used and worn with faith and rules to put on.
12 Mukhi, twelve faces or twelve line rudraksha:

14 Mukhi, fourteen faces or fourteen lines rudraksha :

रुद्राक्ष संस्कृत भाषा का यौगिक शब्द है। जो रुद्र+अक्श नामक शब्दो से मिलकर बना है। रुद्र भगवान शिव के वैदिक नामो मे से एक है और इसका अर्थ है आसू की बूंद।
रुद्राक्ष की उत्पति
आज की दुनिया में सच्चाई कम व भ्रांतिया ज्यादा है, सबके पास अपनी एक कहानी है रुद्राक्ष की उत्पति को लेकर वास्तव मे सच्चाई किसी को भी नही ज्ञात है।
रुद्राक्ष के बारे में विभिन पुराणों में भी विवेचन किया गया है।
शिवपुराण के अनुसार
एक दिन माता पार्वती ने भगवान शिव से पूछा रुद्राक्ष की उत्पति केसे हुई? तब भगवान शिव ने बताया पूर्व काल मे जब वे दिव्य सहर्ष वर्षो से तपस्या कर रहे थे तब ही उनकी आंखों से अचानक कुछ आंसू निकले और वही आगे चलकर रुद्राक्ष के वृक्ष के रूप में परिवर्तित हो गए।तो अंत में कहानी या कहने का सार यही है की रुद्राक्ष की उत्पति भगवान शिव के आसुओं से ही हुई है या यह कहूं रुद्राक्ष भगवान शिव का एक मात्र रूप है।
रुद्राक्ष की विशेषता
रूपरेखा से सुंदर और आकर्षक न होने के बावजूद भी इसका इतना व्यापक प्रयोग इसकी उपयोगिता और प्रभावशीलता का प्रमाण है। तंत्र मंत्र साधना के परिपेक्ष्य में रुद्राक्ष को अति प्रभावी और उपयोगी माना गया है। रुद्राक्ष एक मात्र ही ऐसा फल है, जो सदेव शुभ फल ही देता है, और रुद्राक्ष का उपयोग या धारण कोई भी कर सकता है।

रुद्राक्ष के प्राप्ति स्थल – आज के जमाने में रुद्राक्ष की लोकप्रियता इतनी बढ़ गई है कि असली और नकली का चयन करना भी काफी मुश्किल है अगर सर्वश्रेष्ठ रुद्राक्ष की बात करे तो सबसे आगे नेपाल और फिर इंडोनेशिया मे रुद्राक्ष की सबसे शुद्ध नसल की उत्पत्ति होती है।वैसे आज कल अल्प संख्या मैं भारत मैं भी इसके वृक्ष पाएं जाते है।
रुद्राक्ष के भेद –
रुद्राक्ष के फल अनेक प्रकार के होते है काली मिर्च के दाने से लेकर आंवले तक विभीन रूपो में प्राप्त होते है। लेकिन ये बिलकुल same size के हो ये संभव नहीं, बहुत छोटे और बहुत बड़े दाने कठिनाई से ही प्राप्त होते है वैसे तो रुद्राक्ष 1 से 21 मुखी तक होते है पर इनमे से कुछ बहुत अधिक प्रभावशाली होते है।
एक मुखी रुद्राक्ष

4 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
धर्म, जीवन का महत्व, काम,रक्षा,मोक्ष का दायित्व करता है। 4 मुखी रुद्राक्ष उन विद्यार्थियों के लिए जो पढ़ने मैं कमजोर है, उन्हें इसका प्रयोग बहुत अधिक लाभ दायक परिणाम देता है और रोगों से भी दूर करता है।
5 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
साक्षात रुद्र का प्रतीक, काल शक्ति का केंद्र, यह रुद्राक्ष अपेक्षाकृत सुलभ होता है।यह रुद्राक्ष सबसे अधिक पाया जाता है। वैसे तो रुद्राक्ष धारण करने के कोई विशेष तरीके नही है पर हां इसे अगर 3 रुद्राक्ष एक साथ धारण करे तो पूर्ण फल मिलते है नही तो इसका प्रभाव अधूरा और कम हो जाता है। 5 मुखी रुद्राक्ष शांतिदायक, पापनाशक, गौहत्या, ब्रह्महत्या,जैसे पाप को दूर करता है।
6 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
शिवजी के पुत्र कार्तिकेय की शक्ति का केंद्र बिंदु 6 मुखी है यह विद्या,बुद्धि,ज्ञान,का प्रधान माना गया है। इसके साथ ही यह विभिन प्रकार के सांसारिक कलेशो से भी रक्षा करता है।यदि 6 मुखी रूद्राक्ष के साथ ही एक “4 मुखी रुद्राक्ष भी पहन ले तो बौद्धिक शक्ति के विकास में निश्चित सफलता प्राप्त होती है।
7 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
साक्षात कामरूप,रोग दरिद्र निवारक, सम्रधिकारी यह सातमुखी रुद्राक्ष के प्रभाव में धन का आगमन होता है। इसके साथ मान,सम्मान, संपदा और धन मैं बड़ोतरी होती है। यह रुद्राक्ष प्राय कम ही उपलब्ध होता है और यदि यह उपलब्ध हो जाए, तो इसे पूरी निष्ठा और विधि के साथ धारण करना चाहिए।
8 मुखी रुद्राक्ष

9 मुखी रूद्राक्ष

10 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
भगवान विष्णु के प्रमुख दस अवतारों की शक्ति से संपन्न होने के कारण यह रुद्राक्ष मनुष्य की समस्त कामनाओं का पूरक, संकट नाशक और रोग शोक निवारक सिद्ध हुआ है। इसे धारण करने वालो को भगवान विष्णु की कृपा प्राप्त होती है। यह धारक को अकाल मृत्यु या अप्राकृतिक मौत से बचाता है।
11 मुखी रुद्राक्ष
सर्वजय , सर्व मोहक और सर्वत्र वैभव समृद्धि कार्य इस रुद्राक्ष मैं भगवान शिव की विभिन्न शक्तियों का केंद्र रहता है। उसे शिव जी के स्वरूप का तेज पुंज माना गया है। शिव भक्तों के लिए यह बहुत ही उत्तम, प्रभावी और अमोघ वस्तु है। यद्यपि यह दुर्लभ है किंतु यदि कहीं मिल जाए तो उसे श्रद्धापूर्ण धारण पूजन करना चाहिए
12 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
यह रुद्राक्ष इतना अधिक चमत्कारी होता है। इसके जल से प्रक्षालन मात्र करने से उनके रोग दूर हो जाते हैं। धन,वैभव , ज्ञान और अन्य भौतिक सुखों का प्रदाता यह दाना अदभुत रूप से प्रभावकारी प्रमाणित होते है। भगवान सूर्य के 12 रूपों के ओज, तेज और शक्ति सामर्थ्य का केंद्र बिंदु यह रुद्राक्ष बहुत कठिनाई से मिलता है। और इसको धारण करने वाला व्यक्ति कभी रोग और चिंता, शोक या भय से आक्रांत नही होता।
13 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
यह रुद्राक्ष भी शेष रुद्राक्ष की तरह अनेक प्रकार से प्रभावशाली है। ज्ञान, तर्कशक्ति, आध्यात्मिक उत्कर्ष और भौतिक समृद्धि की सभी कामनाएं इसकी उपासना से पूरी हो जाती है। 13 मुखी रुद्राक्ष के देवता कामदेव है। यह रुद्राक्ष काम और रस रसायन को सीधी प्रदान करता है। इस रुद्राक्ष को धारण करने से सब प्रकार के भोग प्राप्त होते है।
14 मुखी रूद्राक्ष
अति दुर्लभ और परम प्रभावशाली तथा अल्प समय में ही शिवजी का सानिध्य प्रदान करने वाला यह रुद्राक्ष साक्षात् देवमणि है। इसके प्रभाव से साधक समस्त संकट से मुक्त रहता है। हानि,दुर्घटना,रोग और चिंता से मुक्त रखकर साधक को सुरक्षा समृद्धि शाली बनाने का विशेष गुण है।
